On a Day Far Away...
Here are the storyboards for my junior project: a stop-motion animation about an alien/zombie attack. With lots of pretty colors, elemental effects and a narration in song, it will be a huge project. I'm very excited. But this should give you a basic idea of what is happening with the story...

Now, I'm working on a NEW MOVIE! Currently titled "When the World Ends."
It's about a little city, happy, unsuspecting... that gets attacked by aliens AND zombies. possibly also a volcano eruption, if I can figure out how to pull it off. There will be lots of cool effects, and a nice bouncy song, but here's some concept art to give you a little taste of what I have planned.
KING MAN LION!
Here are some process photos of King Manlion. His design is based on something I came up with for my characters and environments class, scroll down to sometime back in spring, and you should find an image. Back then he was called King Creature, but I like that less. I hope to finish him out with some foam rubber casting, possibly my own hair as well. There's a pile of it sitting in my garbage can, and could be put to good use :)

The Traveling Wonder Show: My complete pitch Bible
Just a few characters and background designs for a circus-themed film: The Traveling Wonder Show. I'm not sure how it should end, but in a nutshell: A woman is born with lion paws for hands and feet. She joins a traveling circus in the pursuit of love.
Much inspiration drawn from circusmuseum.nl,
which houses a large collection of circus posters, mostly from the fifties.

Tree house Environment assignment: references, sketches, and exterior painting.
This environment is a space alien settlement hidden somewhere deep within the wilderness of Canada. The aliens built these tree bubble camps to contain helium, the atmospheric gas on their home planet. The bubbles also serve as a helium farm, in which tall alien plants are fed oxygen from the outside, the plants process the oxygen and release it into the bubble as helium. Yeah!
